Our client are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead the on-site H&S team on a major data centre development in Slough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in implementing and overseeing all health and safety measures across the site
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Conduct risk assessments, site audits, and inspections to ensure proactive safety management
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Liaise closely with project management teams, contractors, and client representatives
- Promote a positive safety culture and provide guidance and mentoring to the site H&S team
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience at Senior or Manager level in a Health & Safety role within construction
- Previous experience leading H&S teams on large-scale projects, ideally with data centre experience
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
