A leading high street supplier is recruiting a passionate and experienced Casual Outerwear/Multi-product Womenswear Designer. This role will be working within the design team and alongside the Account Manager.
Overseeing the entire design process, starting with trend research, developing ranges, preparing and presenting in customer meetings, and maintaining daily contact with the customer. Emphasis on shape design and knowledge of fabrics.
We are looking for a Designer who is:
- Experienced Outerwear/Multi-Product designer, ideally with a high street supplier.
- Commercially aware of current trends and themes, developing the brand and working with production to ensure all products align with the customers’ direction and critical path.
- An excellent communicator, comfortable working with colleagues and customers at all levels, including factories and third parties based in the Far East and Europe.
- Highly organised, efficient, and able to work to tight deadlines.
- Possesses garment technical knowledge and the ability to compile detailed tech packs.
- Driven, takes initiative, positive, and solutions-focused.
- Educated to degree level, ideally in fashion design or related field.
