The Department of Sustainability has the opportunity for students to join the team in the role of Green Impact Project Assistant. Green Impact empowers individuals and departments to reduce their environmental impacts and help make positive changes by encouraging, rewarding and celebrating environmental and sustainability improvements. Green Impact challenges departments or teams to implement a number of easy, practical actions that will help implement the University's Sustainability strategy.

Teams/departments are encouraged to find projects particularly applicable to their work area to ensure all staff are motivated to be involved. The Green Impact Project Assistant's role is to support and assist teams to implement their chosen project. The exact nature will be different for each team, but will include aspects of communications, developing new processes, and potentially encouraging reward and competition. You will be able to bring your own skills, experience and ideas and in fact will be fully encouraged to do so.
