A global energy business is looking to recruit a Oracle EPM Functional Consultant to aid with the latter stages of implementation of Oracle EPM as well as continual support and development working closely with both finance and IT.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own and manage Oracle FCCS/PBCS (and future applications) in line with company financial, structural and operational needs.
- Support the Finance team in both the month end close reporting process (FCCS) and budgeting and forecast process (PBCS).
- Provide technical knowledge to support accounting and finance requirements.
- Assist with the development and design of future enhancements and Oracle EPM road map.
Key accountabilities include:
- Set up, maintain, and support Oracle FCCS/PBCS and future applications aligned with financial structure and requirements.
- Manage user roles, access, and security within Oracle EPM, ensuring appropriate access to artefacts.
- Maintain source-to-EPM mappings and PowerShell automation scripts for data loads; troubleshoot issues.
- Implement and monitor new source system integrations; ensure timely, accurate, and consistent data.
- Run, troubleshoot manual data loads and oversee actual/budget data loading from SUN/PRONTO into FCCS/PBCS.
- Assist in CFS system automation, leading the script writing, and validation in line with finance team requirements.
- Expand FCCS/PBCS validation rules and support process efficiency improvements with Finance.
- Monitor performance, provide end-user support, and resolve system/data anomalies.
- Assist in topside journal entries, create templates, and manage data via forms; maintain and implement rules/scripts.
- Manage task lists, user menus, substitution variables, reports, and dashboards.
- Assess Oracle EPM patch impacts, present updates, and lead feature roll out planning and execution.
- Enforce change control, manage configuration deployments, and assess business/system impacts.
- Own incident/service request life cycle with full documentation; support users and project teams.
- Liaise with third parties for issue resolution; provide technical/functional insights to guide decisions.
- Maintain system/process documentation; drive continuous reporting improvements and enhancements.
- Train users on Oracle EPM; support accounting policy/system alignment and Workiva Wdesk interaction.
Candidates will have significant experience working with the management of an Oracle system; highly desirable would be Oracle EPM. Ideally candidates will have worked closely with finance or in the past had a finance background to better understand their needs and provide guidance on the EPM. Candidates who have worked with Hyperion, OneStream or other Oracle related EPMs will also be considered.
