Production Operative

We are looking to hire a production operator on our Cumbernauld Site to undertake the role of packing and palletising finished goods, as well as other tasks in a busy clean environment.

We are seeking candidates who have a flexible approach and can undertake a variety of production duties. Full training will be given, along with any ongoing training that may be required.

Successful candidates will be expected to:

1. Packing and palletising finished products while adhering to BRC regulated standards.
2. Maintain product quality through inspection and quality checks to ensure customer specifications are met.
3. Ensure a high standard of housekeeping and health & safety is maintained at all times.
4. Demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills.
5. Help maintain good hygiene and cleanliness on equipment and around all areas on site.
6. Work collaboratively with others and show the ability to work as a team when required.
7. Undertake other tasks on site away from production.
8. Demonstrate good timekeeping and willingness to work a rotational shift pattern of day/backshift and possibly nightshift if required.

Shift Pattern/Schedule, Pay Rate:

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts

Day Shift: 6am – 2pm; Backshift: 2pm – 10pm

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £12.26 per hour
