Grounds Maintenance Operative (JO-2505-65135) Sunderland, England

Salary: GBP 12.85 per hour

Location: Sunderland, SR2

Hours:

• 7:30am – 3:30pm Mon – Thurs
• 7:30am – 3:00pm Fri

Saturday and Sunday 8am – 3pm

Must be flexible as hours could include weekends for lane closures.

This role involves working with the grounds maintenance team as a strimmer operative during the grass cutting season until October 2025. It also includes tasks such as street cleansing, litter picking, emptying litter bins, and adhering to Health and Safety regulations. A similar background is preferred but not essential.

Must be able to work to deadlines, sometimes alone and sometimes as part of a team. No experience is required as training will be provided.

Working hours: 37 hours per week over a 7-day period, shift times to be confirmed but must be flexible. A driving license is preferred but not essential.
