Role Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Integration Suite Architect with over 8 years of expertise, specializing in SAP PI/PO or CPI. The architect will play a critical role in designing integration solutions and leading the migration from PI/PO to the SAP Integration Suite. This position requires collaboration with stakeholders to create scalable, secure, and efficient integration architectures connecting SAP and non-SAP systems. The role provides an opportunity to work in the aviation industry, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design enterprise-level integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite or SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
- Lead the planning and execution of PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption.
- Define architecture and roadmaps for cloud and hybrid integration scenarios (cloud-to-cloud, cloud-to-on-premise).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and define solution architectures.
- Implement security best practices in integration solutions, leveraging protocols like OAuth, SSL/TLS, and SAML.
- Ensure compliance with cloud security principles for handling sensitive data.
- Conduct design workshops and create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, integration patterns, and best practices.
- Guide and mentor implementation teams, ensuring alignment with solution designs and architectural principles.
- Define integration patterns such as message transformations, routing, and error handling, ensuring adherence throughout projects.
- Optimize integration architecture for performance, scalability, and security.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and updates in SAP BTP Integration Suite and cloud integration technologies.
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience
- 8+ years of experience in SAP PI/PO or CPI, with hands-on expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Proven track record of leading PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite migration projects.
- Strong expertise in integration design patterns, cloud integration architectures, and security best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP process integration, orchestration architecture, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in working with adapters such as SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, IDoc, and JMS.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, along with integration security best practices.
- Expertise in message mapping techniques, including Graphical Mapping, XSLT, and Java Mapping.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to create technical roadmaps and present them to stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or consultants.
