Location: Glasgow (hybrid 2 days in the office per week)

Role Overview: We are seeking a Technical Consultant with a well-established background within the renewable energy sector, with a preference for those with engineering/technical experience in the offshore and onshore wind sector. This position is part of the Renewable Energy team within Business Investor Advisory, specialising in offshore wind and complex renewable portfolio transactions. Beyond transaction advisory, the role will also oversee strategic renewable energy initiatives for key clients, including government agencies, development banks, utilities, and investors.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience within the renewable energy sector, with a preference for those with experience in offshore and onshore wind sector.
  • Undergraduate Degree in Engineering, Maths, Aerospace, Physics or other applicable subject.
  • Masters level Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or Economics or similar with infrastructure investment experience.
  • Attained engineer chartered status or equivalent qualification with a recognised professional institution.
  • Prior experience of due diligence on renewable energy infrastructure assets (offshore and onshore wind projects ideally).
  • A high level of commercial acumen, with a track record of successful project delivery.
