OMNES Education London School (OELS), located in Marylebone, is seeking a passionate and impact-driven Hourly Paid Lecturer to join our dynamic team. As part of the OMNES Education group, we provide a diverse and enriching learning environment for students across various disciplines. The Role:
- The successful candidate is expected to teach the Operational Research module in person from mid-September to mid-December 2025 on campus. The module is 36 hours and will be taught to 3 to 4 groups, depending on availabilities.
- Operational Research (Bachelor Year 3, Level 6) β semester abroad for an Integrated Masterβs programme in Computational Science. The module is structured in two parts:
- Linear Programming, covering model formulation, the graphical solution method, the simplex algorithm, duality theory, and sensitivity analysis;
- Optimisation, focusing on single-variable optimisation, constrained optimisation involving non-linear objective functions with multiple variables, and the application of Lagrangian methods.

- Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK
- Master's in a relevant field
- Ability to provide excellent, personalised support & feedback to students
- Excellent level of written and spoken English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent ability with Microsoft package and VLE
Desirable:
- Qualification in HE Teaching e.g. PG Cert in Learning & Teaching
- Fellowship of Advance HE
Salary & Benefits:
From Β£80/h depending on qualification and experience. Potential funding for Advance HE Fellowship application. In-house training.
