VANRATH is pleased to be partnering with a progressive and expanding business to recruit a Trainee Accountant for an exciting new opportunity. This role offers the chance to work closely with the Management Accountant, gaining hands-on experience across a range of finance activities while developing your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • VAT returns
  • Process invoices and reconciliations for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Help manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
  • Contribute to month-end and year-end processes
  • Work closely with internal teams and support external audits

About You:

  • Studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (AAT / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Assistant Accountant or Accounting Technician
  • A strong interest in finance and sustainability
  • Good Excel skills and confident using financial systems
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and inquisitive mindset
  • Able to manage workload across multiple deadlines and tasks
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
