Sous Chef – Fantastic Opportunity with Award Winning Restaurant

A Fantastic opportunity had arisen at our client based in Norfolk for a Sous Chef to work in the kitchen of their award winning Fine Dining Restaurant.This is a key role in the kitchen as you will support the Head Chef in preparing meals for dinner service only so no lunches. This is a fantastic Sous Chef opportunity.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary package to £40k including tips
• 5 days from 7 – Start at 12 noon – no splits or earlies
• 47.5 hour week
• Staff Meals & Discounts
• Off site accommodation provided if required

The Role

• Working in the award winning kitchen using fresh, local & seasonal produce
• Encouraging and managing the Junior Chefs
• Preparing meals using fresh ingredients on a daily basis. All dishes made on site daily
• Kitchen Management duties – supporting Head & Sous Chef

The Person

• You will already be a Sous Chef or a strong CDP or Junior Sous Chef looking for promotion.
• Able to work unsupervised and have strong management skills
• Experience of working in fresh food kitchens ideally to 2AA rosette level or higher
• Highly motivated and focused. Positive can do attitude
