We are currently recruiting for an experienced, passionate, fresh food dining Sous Chef to join the kitchen brigade at this fantastic, newly refurbished independently owned pub in Windlesham. As Sous Chef you will assist the Head Chef in the running of the kitchen and service of food, ensuring that the highest standards are always maintained, along with creating innovative seasonal specials.

Our client is a friendly, independently owned and individually styled dining pub. Casual enough to be comfortable, smart enough to feel special and serving delicious freshly prepared food all day. The pub has a bar and restaurant as well as alfresco dining all year round. They are passionate about fresh food dining, creating delicious seasonal specials.

  • Solid experience in a fresh food kitchen
  • Keen to train and grow the team as well as your own skills
  • Calm, level-headed & passionate about all things food
  • Confidence in the kitchen during peak service
  • Experience in costing & creating specials
  • High standards of cleanliness, stock control, and task prioritisation
  • A true passion for food and have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn
  • Full understanding and knowledge of EHO - health & safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen
  • Be local to the area, Windlesham or with your own transport is a must
