Our client is looking for their next experienced Head Chef who will be able to raise their standards even further. The current Head Chef is moving on after years of serving them well, and they are seeking a new Head Chef to continue to maintain their good reputation at this beautiful destination gastropub.

The Head Chef will be responsible for:

  • Menu creation, writing and accurate costing alongside the client's required Gross Profits
  • Building supplier relationships for locally sourced produce
  • Junior chef training and encouragement
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date HCCP records in line with the hygiene laws and maintaining a 5* Hygiene rating
  • Stock control and rotation
  • Able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and calm attitude

This is a hands-on role, ensuring that every dish that leaves the pass is well presented and tastes amazing. This is a 5 from 7 days per week job, from Wednesday to Sunday as the venue is closed for food on Monday and Tuesday currently.

Cumulative holiday pay of 28 days per annum is offered, with tips inclusion of approximately £3k to £5k per annum. There is temporary accommodation on offer until the successful candidate finds their own place to live, along with employer pension contribution and meals on duty.
