This is an exciting & innovative role for a new business specialist responsible for generating opportunities for a B2B consulting service, identifying and qualifying potential clients, nurturing leads, and scheduling meetings for the client’s sales team. Role responsibilities
- Outbound Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including LinkedIn, industry databases, and online research.
- Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on pre-defined criteria, assessing their needs and fit for our consulting services.
- Cold Calling & Emailing: Craft compelling and personalised outreach messages (emails, LinkedIn messages, and phone calls) to engage prospects and generate interest.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives with decision-makers at target companies.
- Lead Nurturing: Develop and execute lead nurturing campaigns to cultivate relationships with prospects and move them through the sales funnel.
Data and Reporting
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Management team, marketing and other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify new opportunities.
- Pipeline Management: Manage a pipeline of leads and track progress towards achieving monthly and quarterly targets.
- Data Management: Maintaining sales records and designing reports/dashboards.
Skills Required
- Preferably at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role working in professional services or M&A sector.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build rapport and establish relationships with potential clients.
- Proven track record of increasing sales.
