This is a great opportunity to join a bespoke, independent hotel in a pivotal front desk role. Located in a busy Somerset town, this is a luxury hotel with a fine dining restaurant. My client is looking for a Receptionist to join the team on the busy front desk. This is an extremely varied role, not two days will be the same, but duties will include:
- Checking guests in and out of the Hotel, and promoting all we have to offer
- Dealing with guest queries, and taking reservations for the hotel and restaurant
- Processing the daily banking and ensuring all data is inputted accurately
- General hotel admin whilst on shift
- Liaising with the duty managers, housekeepers and front of house staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service
- Longer term opportunity to support the revenue management, marketing and social media function
To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent levels of customer service and demonstrate a good attention to detail. IT skills and experience of previous hotel software would be advantageous but not essential. This role could suit a recent hotel/tourism graduate looking to join a quality focused hotel and gain exposure and opportunity across other departments. This role attracts an hourly rate dependent on experience and other company benefits.
