Our Client is looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our friendly and passionate team. You must be experienced in the key operational areas of a food and beverage establishment. The position will require strong leadership and teamwork skills and you'll need to establish positive working relationships with other department managers to achieve our business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Proactively manage the day-to-day food and beverage operations whilst constantly maintaining a high quality, safe and well-run operation.
- Manage the team, ensuring they have clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and objectives with measurable performance systems in place.
- Provide strong, inclusive and supportive leadership to proactively manage, coach, train and develop the team including supervisors and team leaders.
- Manage HR matters including recruitment and induction, staff appraisals and performance, the training programme, disciplinary and grievance procedures in addition to any day-to-day staff matters.
- Oversee the staff rostering in line with budget, ensuring KPIs are met.
- Ensure all Health and Safety compliance in line with policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for both staff and visitors.
Candidate criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience of operational management in the food and beverage environment.
- Proven leadership ability to consistently motivate, develop and inspire team members.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety within the industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with situations in a calm, professional and customer-focused manner.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to consistently meet deadlines.
