I've partnered with a leading Commodities Trading client in The Midlands who is looking for an experienced Senior Gas & Power Trader to join their established Trading Desk. This is a good opportunity for an established Trader with a proven track record of delivering PnL to step into a Senior position where they would be able to make strategic decisions and drive desk performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of successfully working in short term Gas and Power markets
  • Previous experience in Trading Power and Gas contracts
  • Deep understanding of wider market factors that affect Prompt and Intraday markets
  • Comfortable working alongside analysts and quants
  • Desire to bring fresh market ideas and confidence to implement
