Role purpose / summary
Our client is looking for an experienced Enterprise Storage Engineer with recent experience of design/configuration of at least two or more of the following Dell Storage platforms:
- Dell PowerStore
- Dell Unity
- Dell PowerScale or Isilon
- Dell ECS
Experience of configuring Dell (Cisco SAN fabrics). Preferably experience of writing low level storage design or configuration documentation.
Backup Role:
Experienced Enterprise Backup Engineer with recent experience of design/configuration of NetBackup Software solutions. Preferably up to NetBackup version 10.x. Experience of Veritas NetBackup Appliances is desirable (although if candidate has Data Domain experience, then these skills can be transferable). Preferably experience or knowledge of Veritas Access platform (or another object storage platform used long term backups). Preferably experience of writing low level backup designs or configuration documentation. Desirable to have some exposure to Azure backup and Hybrid backup architectures using NetBackup.
