The predicted salary is between 28000 - 42000 £ per year.

Up to £35,000 per annum (DOE) 5 days over 7 including evenings and weekends. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Catering Manager to join our Eurest team at DP World based in Essex.

Services include: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Vending, Hospitality and Coffee Shop. At Eurest, we are the experts in workplace catering, operating in over 700 workspaces every day. Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Operational Management: Lead daily catering operations, ensuring high standards in food, service, and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate staff to deliver consistent service excellence.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the main client contact, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring service delivery aligns with expectations.
  • Financial Control: Manage budgets, control costs, and report on financial performance.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
  • Supplier & Stock Management: Oversee procurement and stock to optimize cost and reduce waste.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and deliver internal and external catering events.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Drive environmentally responsible practices across the operation.

About You:

Experience: Proven experience managing large-scale catering operations, ideally within a Business & Industry environment. Strong background in team leadership, client management, and financial accountability. Experience in managing high-volume service.

Skills & Competencies: Commercially astute with good understanding of cost control and budget management. Proficient in health, safety, and food hygiene standards (Level 3 Food Safety or equivalent preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client and team relationships. Strong organisational and time management abilities in a fast-paced setting. Confident in using catering and management systems (e.g., stock control, scheduling, reporting). Driving licence and access to a vehicle due to location.
