About the Role:
This position is for a Microsoft SQL database developer with good database skills and some .NET knowledge. As a SQL Developer, you will also have experience of the full project life cycle. You should have strong knowledge in designing and maintaining database schemas, fine-tuning database queries. Knowledge about our domain, bond markets, is not required.
We are looking for a new team member to extend our development team. As a Microsoft SQL database developer, you will be part of our in-house development team where you will be responsible for designing, building, testing and maintaining efficient, reusable and reliable code in Microsoft SQL.
Our company's most important asset is data that we collect and the way we represent it to our clients. Because of this, we are constantly looking for new ideas to improve data structure, speed and reliability. Some part of the role also includes modifying tools that interact with our database, which is an excellent opportunity to learn new languages and methodologies.
About CMD:

Experience Required:
- 3+ years previous commercial development
- Strong experience with T-SQL, functions, views and scripts
- Experience with MS SQL Server (we use 2016)
- Troubleshooting and fine-tuning skills (i.e.: indexing)
- Good understanding of SQL Server Optimizer and related tools
- Experience with SSRS
Experience Preferred, but not essential:
- Experience of writing code in C# / VB.Net
- Experience of developing Web applications in C# ASP.NET MVC
- Experience with any CMS system (CMS, CRM systems, booking engines or other enterprise systems)
Qualifications/Education Preferred:
- University degree from an internationally recognised institution, in computer science
- MCPD or MCTS or similar (e.g. MCP 70-461)
