We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Paraplanner to join a leading Wealth Management firm. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established company at its growth stage, with future career progression opportunities offered.

Your primary role is to provide a full professional and technical support function to Wealth Planners, alongside supporting a team of 6 Paraplanners.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertake appropriate, accurate and relevant research, based on the information gathered by the Wealth Planner.
  • Undertake accurate calculations and cash-flow modelling where needed to support recommendations.
  • Prepare suitability reports and letters for the Wealth Planners.
  • Ensure that drafted suitability reports and other communications are clear, fair, and not misleading.
  • Draft and co-ordinate technical documents and research for client presentation.
  • Act as a reference point for team concerns/queries, escalating to the Paraplanning Team Leader where appropriate.
  • Assist with training of new team members, providing extra support and oversight for those new in role.
  • Support, motivate and coach team in a collaborative way. Share knowledge to the benefit of the team and/or wider business.
