We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Paraplanner to join a leading Wealth Management firm. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established company at its growth stage, with future career progression opportunities offered.
Your primary role is to provide a full professional and technical support function to Wealth Planners, alongside supporting a team of 6 Paraplanners.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Undertake appropriate, accurate and relevant research, based on the information gathered by the Wealth Planner.
- Undertake accurate calculations and cash-flow modelling where needed to support recommendations.
- Prepare suitability reports and letters for the Wealth Planners.
- Ensure that drafted suitability reports and other communications are clear, fair, and not misleading.
- Draft and co-ordinate technical documents and research for client presentation.
- Act as a reference point for team concerns/queries, escalating to the Paraplanning Team Leader where appropriate.
- Assist with training of new team members, providing extra support and oversight for those new in role.
- Support, motivate and coach team in a collaborative way. Share knowledge to the benefit of the team and/or wider business.
