We are looking for Structural Engineers with several years experience in building defects diagnostics. Digital technology is at the heart of all that we do. This enables us to provide a high quality, highly efficient service to our clients. The successful candidate will embrace the benefits of new, innovative technology and bring new ideas to our business, to help shape our future.
DUTIES:
- Inspection of all types of buildings and structures and the preparation of digital reports, live on site
- Preparation of specifications for remedial works
- Providing technical support for Buildings Insurance claims, including subsidence, fire and storm damage
- Reporting to the Associate Director and providing progress reports
- Developing new ideas to help shape the future of the business
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:
- MIStructE or MICE (desired but not essential)
- Several years post graduate experience in the inspection and reporting on structural defects (essential)
- Historic Buildings experience (desired)
- Good knowledge of traditional and non-traditional construction (essential)
- Proficient in IT systems (essential)
- Buildings Insurance claims experience (desired)
