Head of Financial Control

Forge Talent are recruiting a Head of Financial Control for a rapidly growing Private Equity Backed Healthcare business in North Manchester on a permanent basis.

As Head of Financial Control, you will lead the finance function ensuring a robust control environment is embedded, accurate and timely reporting and leading a team covering management accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivables.
Working with a very accomplished Finance Director you will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and driving financial efficiency across the business.
Responsibilities: Lead the finance function end-to-end, including financial control, financial reporting, cash flow management and financial operations.
Oversee Accounts Payable/Receivable, Credit Control, Expenses & Management Accounting.
Complete monthly Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations.
Prepare monthly management accounts and KPI packs with commentary.
Provide up to date variance analysis on prior periods and against budget.
Provide deep cost analysis where required.
Build internal relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
Meet group requirements, targets and expectations.
Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making.
Build robust financial controls and be adaptive to a changing environment.
Qualifications & Experience: ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified is essential.
Strong Leadership & Management skills.
Worked in a PE-Backed business.
Operating in a similar role previously.
Salary & Benefits: £70,000-£80,000 10% Bonus 25 days annual leave plus stat Pension 5% matched
