Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of industrial equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical, electrical system faults.
  • Support in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform inspections and checks on machinery, ensuring equipment is operating at optimal levels.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and any required updates to the system.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond to urgent situations promptly.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • A relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Experience with fault-finding and repairs across a range of machinery.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of the business.
