An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Strategic Planning Surveyor to join a leading company in the UK’s land and mineral sector. This company is renowned for its commitment to sustainable development and innovative approaches to land management. The Strategic Planning Surveyor will play a pivotal role in supporting the business by securing and promoting land through the planning process for mineral extraction and industrial development. Responsibilities Included:
- Support the Regional Strategic Planning team in ensuring long-term mineral continuity and industrial footprint.
- Manage planning applications and ensure compliance with existing quarries and industrial units.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and management of Land and Natural Resources (L&NR) and Business Unit Capex projects.
- Engage with stakeholder groups to develop relationships and facilitate community engagement.
- Contribute to the implementation of strategic plans that identify mineral continuity and industrial footprint requirements.
Skills and Attributes:
- A relevant degree, working towards or recently qualified as a Chartered Surveyor (RICS) or Town Planner (RTPI).
- Strong interest in Real Estate, particularly in planning and securing land interests.
