Under non-UK private equity ownership, a compelling offering and digital-led marketing have driven a strong market presence organically across well-regarded specialist brands. The next stage requires a top-notch commercial marketer with expertise across all disciplines, to set up for future acquisitions, drive lead generation and sales enablement, evolve the brands and execute on outstanding communications.

Broad, hands-on role spanning strategic direction through to deploying compelling market narratives, underpinned by a data-led approach and best-in-class platforms. Career-defining London-based role for an accomplished marketer with a digital bias and a record for making a difference in premium / creative service sectors such as travel, hospitality, education, culture / venues and similar, or seeking to emerge from a notable premium online consumer brand.

The role:

  • Reporting to UK CEO, shape marketing approach and embed consistent best-in-class execution across disciplines.
  • Lead, energise and develop multi-disciplined 12+ team across growing range of brands, solutions and locations.
  • Assess and develop strategic growth opportunities and wider market roll-out, maximising marketing ROI.
  • Project-manage digital-led capability/tools development; refine demand/lead generation towards greater automation.
  • Optimise processes, techniques, mindset and engagement; embed transparent data-led decision-making.
  • Create and communicate compelling customer journey narratives; ramp up thought leadership and creative excellence.
  • Drive stretch performance/market impact through sense of purpose in rapidly-evolving premium and creative segment.

The ideal candidate:

  • 5+ years’ UK marketing leadership across all strategy, comms, brand, lead-generation, PR, CRM, creative, etc. disciplines.
  • 10+ years’ marketing success in data-driven context(s), with strong digital bias, spanning paid/unpaid and web presence.
  • Proven record of impact in premium B2C services sector(s), such as travel, hospitality, education, culture/venues or similar characterised by compelling customer journeys and thought leadership narratives.
  • Proven expertise in professionalising marketing function/platforms; major record of focus on lead generation to drive sales.
  • Demonstrable experience balancing investment in platforms, tools, media, brand, lead-generation process to enhance ROI.
  • Evidence of incisive authority and outstanding communications, team motivation and empowerment in complex landscape.
  • Strategic, creative, practical, hands-on, media-savvy, persuasive – proven commercial acumen, financially aware.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or similar, ideally MBA; international mindset and frame of reference.
