The Role:
This is a dynamic role for a creative and proactive Product Developer who thrives in a varied environment. You'll lead development projects from concept to launch, working directly with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. You'll have full visibility across the process and the chance to build strong industry relationships.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your customer accounts and being their day-to-day point of contact
- Creating mock-ups, presentations and product samples
- Supporting brand development projects across the business
- Leading social media content (with external coaching support), including filming and posting
- Maintaining accurate development documentation and ensuring all processes are followed
- Representing the company at UK and EU manufacturing sites
- Presenting concepts and trend insights to customers and internal teams
- Monitoring market and category trends to spot future opportunities
- Coordinating sample requests and managing seasonal trend reports and internal publications
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a product development role within food
- A keen interest in food trends and innovation
- Experience working directly with retailers (experience with M&S is a bonus)
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- A UK driving licence and access to a car (essential for site visits)
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and social media platforms
