About the Role: We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Solution Architect based in the UK to join our team. In this strategic, client-facing role, you will lead the design of enterprise-level solutions, working closely with Sales, Proposal, and Delivery teams. You'll be responsible for understanding customer requirements, defining scalable architectures, and ensuring solutions deliver real business value. You will also mentor other architects and developers, drive adherence to quality standards, and ensure compliance with internal processes and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to understand business needs and define technical solutions that address client challenges.
  • Lead the end-to-end design of enterprise software implementations, focusing on business impact, scalability, performance, and long-term value.
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions with clients and stakeholders to capture both technical and functional needs.
  • Create solution blueprints, including UML diagrams, workflows, architecture diagrams, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Assess, recommend, and integrate appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools, aligning with architectural best practices and organizational goals.
  • Work with the Proposal/Bid team to translate requirements into detailed proposals, including effort estimations, delivery timelines, and technical strategies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other solution architects and development teams, ensuring alignment with overall architecture strategy.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of deliverables and ensure compliance with QMS standards, SOPs, and UX/UI guidelines.
  • Offer feedback, guidance, and training to cross-functional teams to continuously improve architectural standards and solution quality.
  • Participate in client presentations, technical validations, and solution walkthroughs to ensure client alignment and buy-in.
  • Collaborate with the project and delivery teams to ensure smooth execution and mitigate risks early in the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, pre-sales consulting, or enterprise software design.
  • Preferred to have hands-on experience with any modern programming language and relational database systems.
  • Proficient in creating and interpreting UML diagrams, workflows, and architecture documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with technology selection, system integration, and architectural governance.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex solutions to both technical and business audiences.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS), SOPs, and UX design standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Enterprise architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF).
  • Experience in Agile/DevOps environments.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific compliance and security standards.
  • Experience in SaaS platforms, custom development, or digital transformation projects.
