Alongside the opportunity to deal with some truly prestigious blue-chip clients (including some of the largest publicly-listed and privately-owned firms in the region), there are so many positives to joining this global broking house:
- A truly collaborative approach.
- A team that enjoys working to shared goals and objectives.

Due to the continued acquisition of quality corporate accounts across the UK, the need has arisen to appoint several Corporate Account Handlers. These roles can be based in various locations, and we are eager to hear from Account Handlers at all levels; from relatively junior Account Handlers from independent and regional brokers, through to seasoned veterans of the industry from competing globals – and everything in between!
The finer points of the roles can be tweaked depending on your experience, technical ability and ambition. You may be a general corporate practitioner dealing with all miscellaneous risks, or keen to specialise in an industry vertical. For those candidates not currently dealing with six-figure income risks, it will be possible to ‘cut your teeth’ on less complex cases – all with the support of a Corporate Account Handling Team that comprises some of the brightest, most supportive and technically-gifted insurance professionals in the market.
As a Corporate Account Handler, you will play a key part in the day-to-day management of a portfolio of clients, including dealing with mid-term amendments, preparing renewals and producing an array of reports and associated documentation. You will endeavour to build a detailed understanding of your clients and their exposures to risks, and where gaps in cover become apparent, work with colleagues to create innovative ways to mitigate them.
It is essential that you have a good understanding of all common commercial covers and have dealt with a variety of risks paying commission and fee income of at least £5-10K. You must be highly professional, and have the polished communication skills to build rapport with senior personnel at FTSE100 companies. You should also be well-organised, with excellent task-management skills and have a keen eye for detail.
In return, you will receive a generous basic salary that is anticipated to be in the region of £30,000 - £50,000 (however, this is negotiable and we are keen to hear from candidates who can justify a salary in excess of this), bonus and an impressive array of company benefits – including a particularly impressive pension arrangement.
