About the Job: We’re looking for a Control Technician to join our control room at our Buncefield Oil Terminal. As a Control Technician you will be responsible for ensuring that the Buncefield Terminal and complex remains a safe and reliable area to work, and complies with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and COMAH Regulations 2015. Part of these responsibilities involve visual inspections of site, sampling of fuel quality, site maintenance & housekeeping, and overseeing road tanker loading operations. The control room operates 24/7, 365 days a year, and the role will be based on a rotating shift pattern (including days and night shifts) to ensure the control room is always staffed.
What do we need from you?
- Maths and English to L2 or equivalent
- Ability to work unsupervised and occasionally with demanding conditions.
- Ability to keep calm under pressure, reliable and a problem solver.
- Organised and logical approach to work undertaken.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Packages such as Excel, Outlook & Teams.
- Full training will be provided.

Salary: Basic salary £35,000 + 20% shift allowance
