MacGregor Black is partnering with a Global Lifestyle Brand who are looking for an Indirect Tax Senior Manager to join their European Finance team in London. Reporting to the Senior Finance Director, you will take ownership of all indirect tax matters across the UK and Europe, ensuring full compliance with evolving legislation, managing tax audits, and driving efficiencies in tax processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of VAT returns and other indirect tax filings across the UK and Europe, ensuring full compliance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for HMRC and external advisors, managing audits and responding to tax-related queries.
- Provide expert guidance on indirect tax matters, ensuring transactions are structured effectively and in line with VAT legislation.
- Partner with key stakeholders to advise on strategic tax matters, including corporate tax, employment taxes, and capital allowances.
- Continuously review and enhance tax reporting and compliance processes, leveraging technology and best practices.
- Monitor and mitigate tax risks, ensuring compliance with changing regulatory requirements.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of VAT setups within ERP master data.
- Support tax-related financial statement entries and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations and maintain robust tax governance controls.
