Tillicoultry Quarries is a successful and fast-growing family-owned quarrying company and major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready-mixed concrete, mortar, render and sports sand to the building and road construction industry. We operate in over 31 sites throughout Central Scotland, the North East of England and East Anglia.

Due to our continued success and rapid growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Fabricator Welder based at Blackborough End. The successful candidates should be customer focused, reliable, well organised and be able to work well as part of a team in a busy site environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, fabricate processing plant components & structures
• Carry out repairs and proactive maintenance of heavy plant machinery, plant facilities, tooling and equipment
• Carry out repairs & maintenance of HGV fleet (i.e. bodywork repairs)
• General fabricating shop duties
• Ensure all duties carried out to Company Health and Safety Policy and Guidelines

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Mechanical, welding and fabrication skills
• Welder qualifications in either Stick, MIG, TIG, competent Welding experience essential
• Competence in using cutting/burning equipment
• A willingness to work and learn in a fast-paced environment
• A flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business where and when required
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually on their own initiative as required
• Full driving license
• Competent Welding experience essential
