D365 Business Central Application Support Consultant

Location: Hybrid – UK-based

Job Type: Permanent

Our client is seeking a proactive, confident, and communicative Application Support Consultant with strong Dynamics NAV / D365 Business Central knowledge. This role offers hybrid working flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to both operational support and post-go-live consultancy activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level support for NAV / D365 Business Central users, investigating and resolving incidents in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, escalate issues where necessary, and manage customer handovers effectively.
• Create and update user-facing documentation and deliver knowledge transfer to key users.
• Collaborate closely with project teams during hypercare and transition to support phases.
• Deliver remote end-user training and keep teams informed of product developments and functionality.
• Assist with consultancy activities post-go-live, including best practice guidance and system optimisation.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Demonstrable experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central applications.
• Strong customer service focus and ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
• Familiarity with common third-party applications used alongside D365 BC.
• Experience working in a support desk environment and responding proactively to issues.
• Exceptional documentation and presentation skills.
• Confidence delivering virtual training sessions to end-users.
• MB-800 certification is highly desirable but not essential.
• A ‘can-do’ attitude with a strong analytical mindset and collaborative approach.
