The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 Β£ per year.
We are partnering with a leading global media group who are making an interim Finance and Accounting appointment for their UK business, based in the Reading area. This global media group is a leader in the provision of cutting-edge technology driven services across a wide range of areas.
Reporting to the Finance Director, this contract role is a dynamic and broad position which will provide leadership and support to a wide range of areas including:
- Management of internal controls, processes and systems and their improvement
- Monthly close
- Monthly and quarterly reporting
- Team leadership
- Intercompany accounting
- Audit coordination and preparation
The role will work closely with the Group Controlling function as well as the wider group functions. Whilst a contract/interim appointment, the role has the potential in the future to move to a permanent position for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with exposure to working in a fast-paced, change-orientated international environment with a background in financial accounting and control. Relevant experience in the sector in Media is not necessary.
