I’ve partnered with a global IT consultancy firm looking for a Contract ServiceNow Developer to work on a large ServiceNow project with a famous Law client.
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, testing and deploying business requirements. The role ensures stability and usability of the ServiceNow platform by performing application maintenance, managing support for incidents related to ServiceNow applications, and contributing to ServiceNow software releases by delivering configuration tasks and features.
- 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow HRSD development, scripting (JavaScript, glide API, XML, Angular JS), customisations, configurations, system upgrade and understanding of HR processes.
- Must have at least 2-3 HRSD and WSD (workplace service delivery) implementations with in-depth knowledge of employee centre pro, employee document management, journey designer, reservation management.
- Technical ability to demonstrate hands-on experience in HRSD and WSD product lines with integrations, portal and catalogue development, data ingestion techniques.
- Must understand the technical governance required for new ServiceNow instance management and should be able to comply with all during development.
- Proficient in ServiceNow development using latest platform features like process automation designer, flow designer, workflow studio, integration hub, scripted REST APIs, service graph connectors, GitHub code repositories, playbook experience, agentic AI.
- Ability to generate test scripts and perform unit testing, functional testing, SIT, regression testing and UAT as part of the development lifecycle independently.
- Must be able to support change control, deployment and technical documentation of the development and deliver independently with minimal guidance from Principal technical architect.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues with the platform and ensure security, maintainability, and performance.
- Hands-on experience of creating client scripts, UI policies, UI scripts, business rules to meet business needs.
- Should be able to work on enhancements and defect fixing and can connect with ServiceNow for any technical issue.
- Knowledge of scrum and ServiceNow delivery methodology (NOW Create).
- Must have CSA, CAD, ITIL, CIS-HRSD and Workplace Services Practitioner certifications from ServiceNow.
