Our client is an independent British menswear brand combining elevated design with clean, contemporary aesthetics. Known for premium materials, refined silhouettes, and slow-fashion sensibilities, it bridges the gap between streetwear and luxury casualwear. Due to strong growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Wholesale Manager to take ownership of wholesale growth and support buying and operational functions — ensuring they deliver a world-class experience to their retail partners and customers alike.

Role Overview

This is a dynamic, multi-functional role combining wholesale account management, developing new business, B2B sales strategy, and buying/operations support. You will play a central part in scaling the brand's wholesale presence globally while ensuring product and process alignment across departments. You’ll be based full-time in our Manchester studio, working closely with our directors, designers, and production team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wholesale Sales & Account Management
    • Manage existing wholesale accounts across UK, Europe and ROW — maintaining strong, proactive relationships.
    • Develop new business by identifying and approaching new stockists (independent boutiques, e-commerce, and department stores).
    • Create and present seasonal sales materials including line sheets, order forms and lookbooks.
    • Handle all wholesale communication, pricing, terms, order processing and B2B customer service.
  • Buying & Product Planning
    • Work with the design team to forecast and plan seasonal buys for wholesale partners.
    • Help analyse sales data to inform future collections, colourways and SKU planning.
    • Track and manage pre-orders, reorder potential, and margin planning by product/category.
  • Operations & Fulfilment Support
    • Coordinate timelines between design, production and wholesale deliveries.
    • Work with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth dispatch and order tracking.
    • Support in managing product data, wholesale pricing structures and inventory movement.
    • Review best sellers and product movement, keeping track of inventory and prompting buys.
    • Forecasting for stock purchasers or requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years experience in wholesale, menswear B2B sales or fashion buying in menswear.
  • Deep understanding of the menswear or contemporary/streetwear fashion space.
  • Organised, commercially minded and confident building client relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail — capable of managing both high-level strategy and day-to-day admin.
  • Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets, inventory systems, and B2B platforms.
  • Experience in international wholesale or showroom sales.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Joor/Fashion GPS, or similar systems.
  • Understanding of production lead times, critical paths and D2C vs wholesale models.

What You’ll Get

  • A key commercial role in a growing independent fashion brand.
  • Full-time role based in our Manchester HQ.
  • Up to £45k based on experience.
  • Staff discount, early access to collections, and opportunities to travel to tradeshows or showrooms.
  • Involvement in shaping strategy across wholesale, buying and operations.
