We are seeking a Senior RF Design Engineer to join our highly skilled engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and self-sufficient RF professional to contribute to both New Product Introduction (NPI) and Sustaining Engineering across a broad range of innovative projects.

  • RF Circuit Design: Engage in system architecture, RF simulation, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
  • Product Development: Lead and support full product lifecycles, from requirements capture through to design, testing, and validation. Troubleshoot and resolve RF-related challenges, working closely with embedded, product, and mechanical engineering colleagues.
  • Independent Work: Manage your own workload and testing with minimal supervision. Provide guidance to junior engineers and help evolve team practices through knowledge sharing and documentation.

Background in RF design or a closely related field in a commercial setting.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with PCB design software and RF simulation tools; knowledge of RF amplifiers, filters, EMC principles, and both analogue and digital electronics. Experience with up/down converters, power supply design, and test equipment (e.g. spectrum/network analysers).

Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Security: British citizenship or eligibility for Security Clearance (SC) is required.

Remote-First Working: This is a remote-first role, offering flexibility while retaining meaningful connection with our on-site team. We ask that candidates are able to attend the Wappenham office approximately one week per month for key meetings and collaboration.
