JDRoss are supporting a global business for their search for a business analyst. This is the chance to join a global business that is growing substantially and has been established for over 20 years. Reporting to the Head of Risk Transformation, the role will identify, analyse and document risk requirements that align with the transformation objectives through consistent solutions supported by the business's wider architecture technology.
Responsibilities
- Gather the detailed user requirement specifications through analysis of the existing business processes and reporting capabilities as outlined in the high-level Risk working packages.
- Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to the wider business standards.
- Build on the analysis to recommend solutions and technologies to address the transformation needs within the project timeline for the Risk Group.
- Implement solutions for the identified quick wins with standard templates that provide a foundational platform for a scalable strategic solution in a realistic timeframe.
- Work with stakeholders at all levels across the business to continually review and when necessary, prioritize the requirements.
- Collaborate with internal/external business stakeholders to plan the business readiness for changes to processes and the implementation of any new platforms (testing, quality assurance and user acceptance testing).
Qualification/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate STEM subject or equivalent computer science work experience.
- At least 2 years of demonstrable experience in a similar Business Analyst role with direct exposure to ETRM processes.
- Applied technical understanding of new data centric solutions based on Power BI, Python, Azure and SQL.
- ETRM expertise with an applied understanding of deal lifecycle and risk management processes.
