A prestigious Sovereign Wealth Fund with USD 360 billion in assets under management is seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join its Real Estate & Hospitality (REH) investment team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the ongoing management of a global real estate portfolio and support the execution of new investment opportunities including fund commitments, co-investments, and direct acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support performance tracking and valuation of existing real estate holdings.
- Maintain and enhance financial models capturing key return metrics.
- Assist in the preparation of portfolio reviews and investment committee materials.
- Coordinate with asset managers and stakeholders to monitor portfolio performance.
- Provide analytical support for refinancing or new debt transactions.
- Conduct research and benchmarking to inform strategy and planning.
- Support in treasury forecasting and budgeting efforts.
New Investments
- Analyze macroeconomic, market, and sector-specific trends to identify opportunities.
- Prepare financial models, valuation analyses, and investment memos.
- Assist in transaction due diligence and review third-party advisor reports.
- Contribute to deal execution, including structuring and documentation support.
Candidate Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in a top-tier sovereign wealth fund, investment bank, or private equity firm with strong real estate exposure.
- Proven skills in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis.
- Experience in active asset management of real estate investments is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline; a Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFA, ACA) is preferred.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and effectively.
- High degree of initiative, integrity, and attention to detail.
