Mechanical Site Manager Opportunity - Flagship Project in Goodwood, Chichester - £50m MEP Value

MK Search are working with a tier 1 MEP Contractor with a big presence in the commercial, data centre and industrial sectors who are experiencing a massive period of growth and are looking to recruit a Mechanical Construction Manager for a £50m MEP value automotive project in Goodwood. The company in question have a turnover of c. £150m and have operations across the UK, Ireland and Europe with a big presence in the data centre, commercial and life sciences sectors.

You will be reporting into the Mechanical Lead while overseeing the mechanical aspects of the project from early preconstruction phases allowing you to leave your legacy on the project. You will be responsible for the day to day management of site activities mechanically, developing and issuing RAMs, enforcing health and safety, QA, liaising with the main contractor and the client and ensuring that all mechanical packages are delivered to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Experience working on high value mechanical projects (£10m+)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical installations, including HVAC, plumbing, and heating systems.
  • Familiarity with building regulations, health & safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with site teams and stakeholders.
  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
  • CSCS card, SMSTS/SSSTS, and First Aid certification (desirable).
