Powered by a cutting-edge tech stack—JavaScript, Node.js, and React – we are recruiting for a visionary Director of Technology / Engineering to drive and scale the organisation accordingly. You will in time live and breathe the product, being the ‘knowledge’ both internally and externally.

Your Role:

• Technical Leadership: Define, refine, and scale our engineering strategy, ensuring seamless performance and innovation.
• Team Management: Mentor, recruit, and inspire an agile team of developers and engineers.
• Product Evolution: Collaborate closely with product teams to ensure seamless integration of technology into user-first experiences.
• Hands-On Expertise: Take ownership of architecture, scalability, security, and best development practices.
• Innovation & Growth: Lead the charge in adopting new technologies that enhance product efficiency and customer satisfaction.

You Bring:

• Proven experience leading engineering teams within digital product or ecommerce environments.
• Come from an engineering background of JavaScript, Node.js, React,
• Have previously integrated and scaled products into complex cloud environments
• Have a passion for different ‘ways of working’ and innovating new ways of working across collaborative teams.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to balance hands-on technical involvement and leadership.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills—able to bridge technical and commercial objectives effectively.
• Tangible experience of working with clients to board level
