Created by two entrepreneurial siblings, Akash & Nikita Mehta, Fable & Mane has taken the beauty world by storm, revolutionising the hair care category to become one of the best-selling brands in Sephora. As a Copywriter, you will create compelling content that aligns with our brand voice, engages our target audience and persuades consumers to purchase our products. You will be responsible for writing and editing various marketing materials, including, but not limited to, website copy, packaging copy, slogans, social media captions, and product descriptions. Your strategic mindset will ensure all copy supports our marketing funnel, content pillars, and storytelling efforts in a cohesive manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop clear, engaging, and brand-consistent copy across multiple platforms, including:
  • Product descriptions for packaging, product pages and visual merchandising
  • Website banners and landing pages
  • Email campaigns
  • Social media posts and captions
  • Ad copy (digital and print)
  • Press releases and blog articles
  • Retail campaigns
  • Digital campaigns
  • Optimise copy for search engines to improve organic search rankings and increase web traffic.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, social, and design teams to align messaging with campaign goals and visuals.
  • Translate product benefits and technical details into consumer-friendly, benefit-driven messaging.
  • Maintain and evolve the brand’s tone of voice to reflect growth, seasonal moments, and campaign themes.
  • Conduct market, consumer, and competitor research to improve messaging.
  • Proofread and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Contribute to creative ideation sessions and brand storytelling initiatives.
  • THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communication or marketing
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in copywriting
    • Experience in the beauty industry
    • Proficiency in writing clear, grammatically sound, concise, and compelling copy that resonates with target audiences and prompts desired actions.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse range of copywriting projects, including CRM emails, marketing campaigns, social media, print and packaging.
    • Creativity, adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
    • Proficiency with common office software
    • Excellent written and communications skills.
    • Highly organised and resourceful with strong attention to detail.
