A successful, busy & expanding company based in Poole that specialises in sheet metal welding, fabrication & assembly. Producing work to the tight tolerances of the aerospace, defence, marine & similar industries working with material as thin as 1mm. Due to an ever-increasing order book, this company is on the lookout for a skilled, versatile Sheet Metal Worker capable of running several machines both online & offline to ensure work is out the door promptly.
Sheet Metal Worker Role & Responsibilities
- A strong background in Sheet Metal Work
- Comfortable working with stainless steel and aluminium from 1mm thin
- A history of working to aerospace, defence or similar standards is desirable but not essential
- Versatility to program Laser Cutters, Punch Presses and/or Brake Presses
- Experience programming offline using Radan or similar software
- Able to work to technical drawings
