As the Director of AI, you will lead the AI strategy and execution. This is a newly created, high-impact leadership role reporting into the executive leadership team. You will be responsible for shaping and delivering AI-driven solutions across their retail operations, ecommerce, supply chain, and customer engagement touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the company-wide AI vision, roadmap, and execution plan.
- Build and manage a cross-functional AI and data science team.
- Partner with business leaders to identify high-value use cases and deliver AI solutions that drive measurable ROI.
- Drive ethical and responsible AI practices aligned with regulatory standards and brand values.
- Collaborate with IT, product, data engineering, and marketing to ensure seamless integration and scalability of AI systems.
Qualifications and experience
- Proven experience in leading AI, machine learning or advanced analytics teams in a commercial setting, ideally within retail, ecommerce, or FMCG.
- Expertise in data science methodologies, machine learning frameworks, and modern data platforms.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex technology into commercial impact.
