Our client has over 35 years of experience and specialises in commercial mechanical and electrical projects. Their clients include maintenance services for end users and facilities management, schools, universities, public buildings, factories, warehouses, residential homes, and offices.
Attention to detail is essential for analysing data to determine materials, labour, plant, and equipment costs for projects ranging from £10k to £200k.
- Attending site surveys to create quotations for commercial mechanical building services equipment replacements and upgrades.
- Producing accurate and timely estimates within agreed timescales and monitoring quote acceptance with clients.
- Receiving client inquiries, maintaining communication throughout the sales cycle, and updating the business through the CRM.
- Conducting site surveys to high standards or reviewing desktop information to develop quotes, identify issues with existing plant on site, and propose suitable solutions.
- Obtaining detailed quotations for products using key suppliers, sub-contractors, and partners.
Experience in maintaining and installing heating, hot water, domestic water, chilled water, and basic gas systems.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 in HVAC or equivalent
- Valid driver’s licence (no major penalties)
- Clear DBS check
- Over 5 years of experience in building services
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
