A leading M&E Contractor known for delivering high-spec, technically complex projects across the UK and Europe—spanning data centres, life sciences, commercial developments, and education—is looking for a Mechanical Construction Manager. This role is to support delivery of a major Commercial project based in Kings Cross, set to complete by October 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the mechanical installation and commissioning across the project, ensuring adherence to all technical, safety, and quality standards
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Take responsibility for the management of all mechanical aspects of the project, from early design through to final handover
- Monitor and enforce health and safety requirements across the site
- Ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and in line with regulatory standards
- Act as the key point of contact for mechanical issues and ensure effective problem-solving throughout the project
- Prepare reports and attend regular meetings with senior stakeholders
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within healthcare, Pharmaceuticals or large-scale projects
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and public health
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers and subcontractors
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- SMSTS, CSCS (black or gold), and ideally First Aid certifications
