SystemsAccountants are currently seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Lead to support our client’s ongoing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation. You’ll be working closely with an internal technical team already in place and coordinating with a third-party service provider handling data preparation activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP Data Migration Cockpit in the Public Cloud Edition of SAP S/4HANA with exposure across Finance, Projects, Products, and Procurement.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the data migration workstream for the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation
- Lead and mentor all data team members ensuring the accuracy of the data extraction, data load files, and validation process for all functions.
- Facilitate the data migration and integration efforts between SAP and the other systems being implemented.
- Lead the defect management process, monitor and troubleshoot data issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensuring data governance is followed
- Develop and maintain data migration strategies, plans, and timelines.
- Oversee data cleansing, mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and auditability across legacy and target systems.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years’ experience in SAP Data Management preferably with a focus on Finance and Projects, Products and Procurement with end to end data loading.
- Proven experience delivering data migration projects for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition implementations
- Proven experience with data modelling, data warehousing and data migration processes.
- Familiarity with Financial reporting standards and project management methodology
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams
- Experience with data visualisation tools for example: SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus
- Degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Certification in SAP is preferred.
- Candidates MUST be eligible for SC Clearance
