Our Corporate Tax team is looking for an experienced Tax Director to lead the delivery of UK corporate tax compliance services across a diverse client portfolio, including major high street brands. This pivotal role involves overseeing strategic tax planning and compliance, managing complex tax matters such as mergers and acquisitions, and providing high-level advisory support. The successful candidate will take ownership of key client relationships, ensure timely and accurate service delivery, mentor the tax team, and drive business development while staying current with evolving UK tax legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a portfolio of high-value corporate clients, providing expert tax compliance and advisory services.
- Provide comprehensive tax advice on a range of complex issues and liaise with our technical teams in areas including transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, group reorganisations, patent box.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, building relationships with potential clients and collaborating with directors to expand our corporate tax offering.
- Work closely with colleagues in other departments to identify tax-related opportunities and risks for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Corporate Tax Director.
- CTA or equivalent certification with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role in Corporate Tax.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax law and regulations.
- Acknowledged as a Tax expert.
