Your responsibilities
- Lead Client Relationships: Oversee a portfolio of high-value corporate clients, providing expert tax compliance and advisory services. Build strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor and ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Deliver Technical Expertise: Provide comprehensive tax advice on a range of complex issues and liaise with our technical teams in areas including transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, group reorganisations, patent box.
- Business Development: Although not an integral part of the role, you will contribute to business development initiatives, building relationships with potential clients and collaborating with directors to expand our corporate tax offering.
- Mentor and Develop: Coach and mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with colleagues in other departments to identify tax-related opportunities and risks for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to service delivery.
What you need:
- Proven experience as a Corporate Tax Director
- CTA or equivalent certification with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role in Corporate Tax.
- Skilled in business development and client management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Commercially driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax law and regulations.
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
