We’re looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our young, dynamic team. 📝 Role Overview

As an Assistant QS, you’ll support our Commercial Manager and Surveyors across the full project lifecycle — from pre-construction and tendering through to final accounts. You’ll be involved in both office-based and on-site work, gaining real insight into how commercial decisions drive project success, while developing your technical and professional capabilities.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost plans, estimates, and tender submissions
• Support procurement and subcontractor management
• Attend site visits, valuations, and progress meetings
• Help track variations, manage cost control, and produce financial reports
• Maintain accurate project documentation
• Collaborate with site and project teams to ensure best commercial outcomes
• Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously

✅ What We’re Looking For

• BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management (or working towards it)
• Strong numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Confident communicator – both written and verbal
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn
• Good IT skills (especially Excel and MS Office)
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Full UK driving licence
